Adjustments are made as needed.
Six-Year Maintenance
Fire extinguisher maintenance is also required every six years or after hydrostatic testing. This includes a complete recharge of the extinguisher for the annual maintenance certification.
Test & Recharge
Hydrostatic testing is required for the annual maintenance certification for fire extinguishers that are a certain age. The manufacturing date or last hydrostatic test are indicators of the test time.
